This kind of razor is better than throwing tons of plastic razors into the landfill. So, I wanted to try that. The sharpness of the blade takes a little getting used to and I've cut myself a few times, not that it doesn't happen with a plastic blade. What I still have to get used to with steel and plastic is that you don't have to force it to work and let this razor do what it's supposed to. If you press on or deviate from the shaving line, you could cut yourself. With this razor, the shave is much cleaner and smoother. Even if these plastic manufacturers add 3, 4, 5 blades (who comes first to 10 blades in one razor?! This is getting a bit ridiculous), I would say that this single-blade metal razor shaves smoother. There are so many blades included in this pack. It lasts a very long time and is therefore excellent value for money. The flaw with the product they need to fix is that the metal stand is not waterproof. Since they know people will keep it near water (sink, shower, etc) they really need to make sure it doesn't rust everywhere. Update: It becomes impossible to open and close. By the way, I need pliers to replace the blade. It broke. Doesn't fit at all. So it worked for a while and came with a lot of blades, but. I want the razor to last a few years, not one or two (is that unreasonable?). Again, the rusting of non-stainless steel really worries me since it's used with water.
