Old post: This is an ad for an app for the Harris XG-75. As you can see, connecting my Harris mic to the radio is different than connecting the new Cougar 2. The audio didn't work straight out of the pocket. I don't know if this was due to a different connection to the radio or a defective speaker in the Cougar 2. I was happy to ditch the old price tag for disposable, listen-only headphones and use this product with a lavalier mic. Unfortunately, this fuss ended in either a defective product or a misrepresentation of the product. I will come back and ask for a replacement and write additional feedback if this product works next time. Update: The seller contacted me and it turned out that the earpiece was defective. Something like that happens. I've upped my original one star to three because they dealt with the issue. They found out quickly and returned the money immediately. I have since reordered another pair and will review the product once I receive it.
