I received the dual monitor stand in October 2019 and have been using it ever since. I took it with caution - will the monitors stand it, will it be useful? Positioning my two monitors securely was definitely a task. Springs and gas cylinders create resistance to movement, but lateral adjustments are easy to make. I like the default height, so I don't know how easy or useful it would be to change the settings to change the monitor height - sorry. I put the cables through "routing channels" but as we recently moved I decided not to use "routing channels". This leads to even more cable clutter, but I don't think it's worth the effort. I recently bought a new slightly larger IPS monitor and had an issue with the monitor, not the stand. The monitor bracket mounting holes are positioned correctly, but are recessed so the mounting plate on the stand bracket was too large to fit the cutout. I bought longer screws and some plastic washers which worked great to securely attach the new monitor to the bracket. You can probably spend a lot more and get a lot more options with other dual monitor stands, but this worked fine for me. .
