I bought this camera to complement my trip to Europe. It always accompanied me in my pants or coat pocket when I was on the go and proved to be strong, simple and reliable. I used auto 80% of the time - low light, bright light, cloudy days, rainy days, dark caves. Of the 600 or so photos I took, about 75% were tippers (mainly because I refused to use flash and instead relied on the camera's auto ISO, high sensitivity, and slow shutter speed). My friends had cameras worth over $250 and this thing took pictures that looked pretty much the same as theirs, $100 off, PLUS anti-shake (grainy photos) AND cheap design (less risk of theft). I made good use of the fully automatic picture function, shot a few videos, shot close-ups and landscapes and made an audio recording. The ability to draw and shoot quickly is a big plus. About 3.5 sets of alkaline batteries have burned out. The only complaint I have is the low frame rate on medium video settings. My friends' $250+ cameras (Sony, Gun Pocket Cameras) captured video like a camcorder, while mine was a little choppy at those settings. To be fair, the video looks fine on the highest quality settings. I've dropped the camera twice from about a meter and it doesn't even have a scratch, just a bit of wear from carrying it around. I recommend this camera as a cheap, all-round pocket camera for people who don't want to fiddle with ISO/shutter settings themselves. Not only is this a good all-around camera, it pairs well with more expensive pocket cameras that have a larger screen than theirs and take better photos at night.
