Update: I used a stainless steel cleaner to coat the sinks after using the kit and it got rid of the stains. I still have scratches, but now I have to deal with them. I wish I'd paid more attention to the negative reviews, but I'm obsessed with the positives. I was hoping for an inexpensive and easy repair to my scratched 13 year old kitchen sink. After using it, I regret it, so I will share my experience. Pros: For a nervous first-time user, the product was a little easy to use. I followed the directions, making sure to sand/buff carefully. Cons: The main sink took over an hour. The product in the tubes was semi-solid and I didn't know if it was outdated or usable but I continued anyway. Then, after I was done and the factory paint was peeling off, water stains started appearing on my sinks, which is unsightly and disappointing in my test run. And on top of that, the deep scratches didn't come out, so it was round.
