I think my expectations were a bit high when I bought the 31.5 Inch Height Adjustable Laptop Desk/Tray (White) from HQISTAR decided. In hindsight, the $64 price tag should have charmed me a little. let me explain. The HQISTAR arrived flat in a surprisingly small box. Hardware. The assembly takes a few minutes. Although most of the construction is metal, you can tell it's not designed to support very much weight - from tiny wheels to dented bolts and wheels that go into threaded inserts in tube end caps (rather than welded ones to the legs Calls). But does it matter? I mean, how much weight were you planning on putting in there anyway? The answer to this question is complex. I first used a stand for my 17.3 inch monitor. Notebook. I then switched to using it for a monitor, keyboard and mouse attached to my outdoor testing and benchmark setup. The problem, in my opinion, is that the stand isn't stiff enough for normal use without the table top "rocking" a bit. It's not a big deal for a casual desktop (since I use it now), and it's less likely to affect kids (since their hands don't weigh that much). However, I would NOT want to use this tabletop for heavy use - the tabletop supports simply don't have tubes thick enough to prevent sagging. As for the ranking, I think it requires a certain qualification. I think the car is $64, but I think the target demographic is important. If it is rolled out and used from time to time then I think it is a 4 star item. However if the idea is that it is a complete table on wheels I think it is a 3 star item.
