They were of acceptable quality for making a costume that requires hand covering and they worked well but I wouldn't buy them if my child needed actual gloves to stay out of the cold hold in winter. The knit is loose and the gloves tend to roll after a few uses. They can fit over them as an inner layer with waterproof gloves, or maybe folded in half.
