Review on Women Small Crossbody Phone Wallet by Frances Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ugly brown imitation leatherette but well made

It definitely doesn't mislead the impression that it's leather, although photographed very well. Some faux leather products look good and almost real, but aren't. It's ugly brown stuff and it's coming from someone who loves brown. I deduct one star for the cheap material and 2 other minor complaints (see end of review). That cosmetic detail aside, the bag is nice and well-suited for those who don't like to carry a bag around but always end up dropping it. Little things, because their hands are busy! It has two main zipped pockets that take up the majority of the wallet, a front pocket and a small flat zipped side pocket. The top flap of the handbag closes with three large pockets with magnets. This wallet can hold a large phone in a case, a wallet, some pens, some sunglasses, maybe a thin, small notepad, lipstick/lip balm, a snack bar, and that would be about the maximum. The material, while cheap looking, is soft and very foldable/floppy, not hard. Eventually it will rub and flake with frequent use but for now it works well and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth if necessary as it is not very porous or permeable. many new synthetic purses. In fact, it has no smell, which is nice. The shoulder strap seamlessly adjusts to a variety of lengths, and the metal clasps attached to the wallet body are strong, good looking, and rotate 360° smoothly. : (1) the main zipper under the flap of the lid, which attaches to both middle compartments, creates a small hole in both middle compartments when closed because it is not fully sewn to the bag; its tail extends beyond the pocket seams. You can put your finger in any pocket under the closed zipper. It's not so bad that things fall out, but it's just a little silly. Not to mention that extra lightning bolts flapping in the wind look unfinished. (2) The small metal clasp does not fit the receiving magnet directly because it is too weak, and the father-to-mother metal button is too small. It still snaps into place, but not always evenly and securely.

Pros
  • Magnetic clasp
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
