Great design but weak product

My husband is working from home post Covid and uses a laptop and two monitors. His desk became cramped between these and all other things that concerned him. This stand has improved a lot and looks nice from a distance, but when you get close you realize how cheaply made it is. The wood is very light and feels dry and combustible. The wood should be of better quality for the price. I have doubts about how long it will take.
