The best thing about PuTTy is that it can be used to connect remotely from any device like PC or Laptop which has internet connectivity. It also supports FTP & SFTP functionality so no need to use third party software as well.It's very easy to setup and configure.You don't have to install anything else apart from this package. You can do all your work using just one single command line interface. There are some features such as color codes which needs more improvement in terms of its quality. However I still recommend you to give it a try for sure. We were looking for a good tool/ application to manage our remote servers which was secure enough for us. And then we found out about putty. Our team members are able to access those servers without much difficulty now since we've replaced them.
