Review on πŸŽ’ Kuryakyn 5214 Momentum Roamer Tail Bag: Weather Resistant Motorcycle Travel Luggage in Black by Tim Jolivette

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good bag; bad zip ties

Purchased to fit the rear of a BMW K1600GT. Like all Kuryakyn bags, this one is well made (I have an old Momentum Road Warrior Rear Seat Bag and it really was a Road Warrior - a gem) and I expect this bag to last. My two negatives about the bag are 1) the straps are too long for my needs, 2) I find that the dog leash buckles end up digging into your paint, even with the paint protection (which I didn't get). However, I knew the straps would be unusable before I bought the bag. Will use Gear Wrapz (or similar) to tie the bag. Two other smaller excavations. The D-rings are smaller than I'm used to and some bungee straps may not work. And finally, I find this bag a bit overpriced compared to other Kuryakyn products and competitors. $125 to $135 would be fairer.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
