I was skeptical about the cable as the entire charger needs to be thrown away and replaced when worn out. However, I find this works great for me. If you have family members/colleagues/roommates using iOS devices or other Android devices without USB C and tend to damage your charging boxes or cables*, this could be your solution. I also dig a 6ft cable length. I'd rather carry it with me than the one Google supplied which has a pathetic 3 inch cable.
