Review on Hach WIMS by Young Rich

It has been easy to implement into our current systems, allowing us access to historical data for both drinking/wastewater treatment plants as well as distribution pipes (pipes that deliver treated water). The initial set up is very time-consuming but once in place it's fairly self explanatory. For example if I wanted to view pipe pressure at different points along my city's network would require multiple users - this meant there was an opportunity cost involved. This could be improved by having better reporting options available. We're currently using SWISDRIVER from Siemens which provides some limited reports through their web interface however we've found these are not suitable for viewing large volumes of raw data such as monthly flow graphs. Data collection around pipeline leak detection (using HydroSense), stormwater management, etc., have all benefited greatly since implementation within HWMS.
