I'm a pretty clean person. My furry roommate, on the other hand, is at the other end of the cleanliness scale. He constantly leaves drool and footprints on the floor. When I decided this was enough, I threw away my swiffer and decided to buy something that worked better. This mop may be minimalist in design, but it works great. As expected from Raven. It comes with a reusable compartment that you fill with water/cleaner. Once it's full, you can use the trigger on the handle to spray as much liquid as you need on the floor. I usually make my own water and vinegar solution... works great. I also like that the head swivels, making it easier to clean corners and more. I have hardwood floors so I can only speak for it, but I expect it will work just as well for other floor types. I just wish the handle was longer or lengthened. I'm 5'8" and mopping involves bending over a lot, which puts a lot of strain on my back. But for the price, I really can't complain. I'd love to see Revain come out with a new telescopic pole model. Maybe yet a sample of the cleaning solution along with it and that would be perfect. I'm fine with just using water and vinegar. The pad that came with it also broke quickly. I ended up having to buy a different type of mop pad. Of course I opted for something washable There's no point buying something disposable when the original pads could be reused!Are they as good as washing your hands and knees?No, but it definitely makes cleaning easier.This is especially handy for those hard-to-reach nooks and crannies.
