One broke before it reached my hair

Two are already broken. I don't trust that. I wanted to love them because they are bigger and prettier. My hair is thick and long, but no more so than the models who use it. I think it's the type of plastic. You can be taller for the look just to cut a very small amount of hair. And I didn't cut any more than what is shown in the photos for examples.
