just got Meater + read all reviews Arrived quickly Used for brisket in Smokey Mountain Smoker app loads and installs quickly for smoked brisket Quickly connects to Meater, put meat in smoker and there it is all please separate base charger drops 10 feet. I had to be within 1 foot of the smoker to get readings. Connected to the app and gave me accurate outside and meat temp readings checked with the smoker temp sensor, went 10 feet lost signal and I got 165 foot model! I won't give specifics on how long it takes to cook, told me 2 hours per brisket! then continued to appear and could not give me a time indication. I left the smoker on all night and didn't leave my phone more than 10 meters with the app on because I couldn't move it. When I woke up in the morning the app lost all connections and stopped cooking! I like the concept, but the execution of the whole system is not ready for prime time. Don't waste your money until a new model comes out that does what it promises. . I will return this expensive paper pulp.
