We got this because we wanted to avoid chemical bedding. I will say we had to return the first one after 1 month of use as it looked worn but Merino Kids replaced it with no problem (although the process took 3 weeks). We also have the Woolino which seems to be thinner so we're leaving it for the 'warm' months. Our daughter must be freezing because we go well beyond the stated layers: it's 70 degrees in the room and she has a short-sleeved romper, full-length cotton pajamas, and then a sleeping bag. It takes a long time to dry (we're in Seattle), so if there's no sun (there's not much of it in winter), it can take 10-12 hours. I love the feel and am very happy with the product; I love that she doesn't inhale tons of chemicals while she sleeps
