I needed a better solution than the backlit one. I did a little research and found this great G9 socket. And thanks to Revain it sold out in local stores - VALUE! And even sweeter - PREMIER DELIVERY. I had to convert five pendant lights from G9 base A19 LED bulbs to 8W LED corn bulbs; score again with Revain Prime Delivery for LEDs. This G9 frame is perfect: brand quality, ceramic frame and the contact is pressure activated. As some have said, you may need to push the wires through with needle nose pliers to ensure a tight fit, or even tin the ends. It took 20 seconds to insert the wires. Since this socket supports G9 halogen bulbs, it will easily work with 8W, 9W or 10W Corn LEDs. The 8W (800 lumens) LEDs were perfect for our kitchen island. I plan to replace the candelabra sockets with these G9 sockets and will be using 10w corn leds for more lighting.
