A simple LED light that plugs directly into a standard 120V household socket. The light provides a bright, even light that comes on instantly and has no noticeable flicker . The screw holes for permanent mounting are very small and are located at fixed points on the light. This somewhat limits the choice of screws I can use and means I have to choose between placing the light in the ideal spot or fixing the screw in the ideal spot. Compared to previous flashlights I've used had clips that could be screwed into a stud or other rigid attachment point and then attached anywhere along the length of the flashlight. There was also a small problem that the connectors these lamps use have the same plastic clip as my old lamps, but the internal metal connections are somehow quite slightly different so they don't connect securely. I don't know if that's down to the manufacturer, it's just annoying that they didn't use the same standard. Both types are perfectly connected to each other.
