After struggling with intermittent climate control issues for several YEARS (HOT on driver's side regardless of settings), I decided it was time to replace the faucet door actuator. If you have front bucket seats and a center console, removing the leftmost screw on the hood is VERY PAINFUL. (Three 7mm screws). Once you've done this the actuator is held in place with two 5mm screws and is fairly easy to remove. After replacement, do not touch the leftmost hood screw. Went like clockwork. Pull the AC fuse after everything resets.
