For my new 2021 Chevrolet Spark, this visor extension is a definite improvement over not having one. The Spark's sights are short. Combined with my particular seating position (which is about halfway through the seat travel), the sun still hits me out of the driver's door window even when I rotate the visor to the side. Very annoying! The visor extension solved this problem. It increases the length of the visor and thus blocks the entire top of the door window, not just the top front half of the door window. Cons: (1.) The sliding sidebar is a bit flimsy and starting to sag a bit. within a month or two of use. (2.) In order to be able to continue to use the make-up mirror built into the visor, I had to attach this extension piece in a slightly different way than recommended in the instructions. Basically I mounted it upside down and on the opposite side of the visor than the instructions say. As a result, it was not possible to extend the second sliding sash. Luckily I don't need this panel. My main goal was to make the visor "longer", not "thicker". This expander satisfies my basic need.
