What adorable little embroidery scissors. I was fairly expecting them to be purely decorative, so I was pleasantly surprised to find them convenient to use and actually work quite well. I ordered the black one which is really nice. Despite being small, the handles are roomy enough for my fingers to fit in easily. The blades run smoothly and are very sharp. They cut the threads with no problem. Scissors are dangerously sharp, so a protective case is definitely a must. The so-called leather sheath in the product name is disappointing - it's just cheap polyurethane. This is very deceptive, although not unexpected. In fairness, it would be more correct to call it faux leather in the gallery, but that's a case of too little/too late. I would have given these scissors four stars but deducted one due to this discrepancy. The current price of $8.99 seems reasonable.
