I decided to try this because I was using a hand mixer and it didn't work. I used to have a Kitchen Aid blender, but I threw away the other one because it weighs a ton (even though I don't have enough chopper attachment). Anyway, I just tried this blender and it works very well. I wish the bowl had a flatter bottom but it did a good job of making a fruit tart. . . good performance etc. A BIG CONS is you ****can't put attachments in the dishwasher****. . . I have a sticky mess and have to hand wash everything! It may come back due to this factor. Who the heck makes products that can't be washed in the dishwasher? Other than that, I think this blender does a great job!
