Great mount! Need a 3/8 long head
I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and the original plastic bracket broke. Ordered the whole visor with a new mount and found it was too wide even though it was supposed to fit '06. Not right. Disappointed, I bought a Dorman mount. Perfect! The metal is strong and fits like a glove. It's a little tricky to install the spring and lock washer, but here's the trick. .3/8 inch extension and hammer. First, compress the spring a bit by hitting it with a hammer so that it falls deeper into the bracket hole. Place a lock washer on top of the spring and place the 3/8 extension on it and hit it hard with a hammer. Did! Using a long 3/8" bit will strengthen the lock washer and help you avoid breaking your fingers.
