These lights are very bright and exactly what I was hoping for with one small exception. I tried them out at home before installing them and they all caught fire. I installed them around my house as sidewalk lighting. When I installed in the evening I found that there is a two foot dead zone in the middle of the barrel. I'm not taking them out at the moment because apart from this place I love the light. I put a landscape stone in front of the dead center so nobody notices. Update after a little over a month of use. Last weekend my husband noticed that the lights on my rope were barely lit so the next morning I went out to inspect the rope and noticed a few dark spots on the rope which turned out to be burn marks. I turned them off immediately. I will not buy a rope of the same length again. I still want 150ft of coverage, I'll just be buying a few smaller lengths. Very disappointed.
