Review on Unirex UMW 645S UHS 1 Adapter Reader by Damon Atonyo

This review deserves to be shared. First, it's a micro SD card, and second, it's an accessory. The first is excellent, the second is a disgrace. I tested the micro SD card inserted directly into my laptop and found the performance to be pretty good. 90MB/s read, 45MB/s actual write (using Directory Opus and Crystal Disk Mark). Then comes the USB adapter. At first glance it looks normal: a USB-A port, a micro-USB port, a micro-USB slot and one for inserting a standard SD card. Transfer speed is very disappointing after plugging into a standard USB port. I then get read speeds of less than 5 MB/s. Verdict: For a $10 128GB MicroSD card, the offering is interesting in itself. 5 stars The adapter is a shame. 1 star. The average for both is 3 stars. If you don't need an adapter, 128GB up front for $10 is still a good deal.
