It's definitely not leather.
I was pleased with this as I needed a small wallet for going out, but for the most part it lasts less than I expected. The pop-up card feature is nice and has room for your ID but barely fits in. And if you have more than one bill, it will hardly close. I don't know what else to say other than it looks like vinyl and doesn't feel like it's built to last.
