Review on MidWest High Walk Thru Steel Gate by Jennifer Scott

This is a great gate! I tried to keep our 3 cats out of our son's room. He didn't want them in his room because they have bad habits. I was skeptical that this would work on cats and even bought a plastic octagonal cover to keep them out. Haven't even used it yet so this is just day one. Also, I bought humane litter boxes but they haven't arrived yet. I'm not even allowed to put them in front of the door because cats avoid gates. Kittens would be fine but my cats are mature, older cats. I am very very shocked that it works even for a minute! My son easily installed it himself. He said he didn't screw it into the frame because it stays in place without the screws. Larger dogs may need more strength than cats. Also what I read in another review is correct: the door opens on both sides. I found it expensive, but I went with what I thought would be the most likely to work. I think white was way cheaper than black. Kind regards!
