I have received several compliments on this bag. My sister in law wanted to know where I got it from. My mother in law thought I paid a lot more. This is great quality for the price. The zippers work well. One quirky thing is that the main zipper isn't attached to the edge of the bag. This design allows the bag to be fully opened and has a nice metal stopper on one side. By keeping the piece of metal straight while you zip up, you won't try to zip up with a twist. The strap is canvas on one side and leather on the other. I noticed from some old photos that the straps were just canvas. I definitely prefer canvas with leather over the cheap polyurethane finishes that other manufacturers use to save on costs. Polyurethane sheds the outer layer and ruins the look of many good leather bags. This bag is finished by folding and stitching leather together (see photos. Impressive!). I would buy again and would recommend buying as long as this company continues to maintain top notch craftsmanship.
