I bought this set for my one-year-old nephew, and he immediately liked the colorful variety of shapes and cute animals the puzzles come together to form, even if he couldn't quite do them himself at first. But by age two, he can put them together forwards and backwards/flipped over and is still not bored of them. The pieces are all perfectly smooth, well-painted, and thick/sturdy (but still lightweight enough to be easy for baby fingers to handle), the animals themselves are adorable-looking, and the whole set comes in a sturdy, giftable box with each of the six puzzles individually plastic-wrapped so you can take them out one at a time to introduce to your baby if you like. I'm just really happy with the quality and am hoping to buy more of these wooden cutout puzzles from this company. Highly recommended!
