I got a Razer Kraken Kitty headset for Christmas while playing on PlayStation. Unfortunately, the headset cord wasn't long enough to reach from the TV center to where I was sitting on the couch. So I was looking for a USB extender. I read on several forms that I had to be gilded for the extension to work. I'm not very well versed in stuff like this so I just did what people suggested and it worked. It was a great price for the quality. It comes with two so I don't know what I'll do with the second one but I couldn't find a gold plated extension in one package but oh well. Either way, the sound quality in my headset is as if I hadn't used an extension cord, and the headset backlight still works great. So if you need a Kraken headset extender, it's proven to work.
