I used this protector on an older model of ipad. I bought it in November 2018. This ipad had battery issues and after a few months it became difficult to charge. I never thought it could be related to the case. I left my iPad unattended for a few months and then found the iPad was split, open like from screen to back, can't be repaired. So I got rid of it then I started using this case with another Ipad and I just opened it up to clean it and it started showing the same type of damage as the other one. Until I realized that these cases are so tight that they need to put extra pressure on the gear. OMG, I never thought it could cause this.
