Excited about this device. While most soundbars are a 2/1 design with a speaker at each end and a woofer in the middle, this unit features a distributed speaker/woofer array. Beautiful, rich sound. You can really hear the difference if you wait that 0.3 second for the tape to fire. Then it's like. Impressive! when seated in relation to the ears. That is, the sound does not come from the "top half" of the room, but more realistically from the middle level of the room. This makes a noticeable difference in listening quality. Finally, I appreciate that it has multiple HDMI ports, an optical port and standard USB, making it much more convenient and functional. All in all a great price! Glad to have moved from the 2/1 top soundbar configurations.
