I used to use hard wax but when I decided to try it my favorite type was out of stock. First the pros. That is beautiful. Visually, it looks like gold in a crucible. And here it all ends. minuses. 1. It stinks. Any essential oil they put in there smells awful. 2. it doesn't work. I regularly wax the same spot on my chin like clockwork and it only pulls out the coarsest, thickest hairs, leaving hairs long and thin. it is somehow the most painful in terms of initial traction and post-impact pain. I usually use witch hazel afterwards and it doesn't even touch the tingling. I thought maybe I did it wrong so I lowered the temp as much as possible and it was the same. I suspect again that it has something to do with essential oils. I know this is a sensitive area but I don't normally have sensitive skin and I use products with essential oils and have never had any problems before.
