The good: It's real leather, it's a really great color and it looks good, looks like a quality leather strap at first glance. I've been wearing this strap for about a year, almost every day. I wear it watering the garden, in the workshop, washing the dishes, riding my bike - it goes everywhere, rain or shine, and I really liked it. That means it's frayed leather that's been converted into leather sheets and coated with something that smoothes the finish. What it is looks and feels damn good. But as I wet it, patted it, and took it on and off every day, it started to stretch. Still looks good but is gradually losing shape and showing signs of wear. I can not complain. You get what you pay for. If you only plan to wear it to work or mainly for social gatherings indoors, then this is a good choice. If you're looking for something that will stand up to the abuse of the big wild world and last longer than a year, get one of those woven NATO straps, or even better, full-grain leather.
