I bought this little tripod hoping it would have the same flex and grip as the Joby gooseneck but on a smaller scale. However, this Albinar tripod is quite limited in its flexibility. The legs are bent from twisted metal, but so far only bent. The range of motion isn't much greater than you'd expect if the legs were just rigid and hinged at the top (like a traditional tripod). To put it more bluntly, you can't wrap these legs around a railing, fence, post, etc., so what's the point of making them flexible in the first place? The only thing you can do is bend your legs a little to balance the position. I'm giving this tripod a few stars because it's cheap and makes a good tabletop tripod. But I would recommend Joby if you need the ability to grab items.
