Great tripod for cameras or petcube

I love these little tripods! They are great for travel photography. Most cameras have a hole at the bottom to mount this tripod. I also use these tripods for my petcube camera so I can tilt it towards the ground. Very versatile and small enough to carry in your pocket or purse.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • unreliable

Versatile and inexpensive

Great little tool. It's small enough for most cameras and its three flexible legs allow it to stand on almost any surface, even the very uneven ones. The legs can be adjusted in many ways, so you always get the composition you want (unless you want the camera to be vertical instead of horizontal). You always get a stable, sharp image and can put yourself in the picture without a stick. It's also very durable.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

The best for $2!

I use this with my Sony HDR-TD10 High Definition 3D Handycam. It's a big camcorder, but this stand is flexible enough to accommodate it. The stand fits easily and conveniently in your bag and is quick to set up. This is ideal for recordings where you need still support without having to mount the camcorder/camera on the ground, a branch or any other part of nature that is not clean. Anyway, I think it's pretty cool for what it is and it's super affordable.

Compact Camera Suitable

Reading other reviews I see that some expected this tripod's legs to be flexible enough to wrap around anything. You will not. You will receive a small tripod suitable for compact cameras/camcorders, as stated in the description. For example, this product is not compatible with a large digital SLR camera. Either way, you wouldn't trust a $4 tripod to hold a large, expensive camera. But you definitely get at least what you pay for with this product. It fits a standard tripod and can carry a…

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

The Albinar tripod I received didn't work

After mounting a mobile phone or small camera on it, I could not adjust the angle to focus the camera right in front of me. The legs are springy. This makes adjustments impossible. As another comment posted pointed out, the mount is not level (parallel) to the surface when the legs are extended. My tripod had the same problem. So the camera angle is already high or low and needs to be adjusted. There are many great reviews for this product so I suspect it is a quality control issue. That said…

it's not cool at all

There are a few things wrong with that. I actually bought it because someone I know has the Canon version that comes with it. Compared to this version, this one is not the best. The legs don't actually bend - they bend to a point and recline. The "ball bearing" on one of the legs came loose and disappeared on one of my outings, so it's all useless now. When used carefully, this works great. If you're looking for a tripod for more intensive use that should have real flexible legs, look elsewhere

Good basic support for a small point and shoot camera

If you're looking for something the size of a bic grip that can hold a point and shoot light camera, this will suit your needs. I use mine when I'm on vacation and just want some support for a long exposure, or I want to set my self-timer and snap to the picture. If there's a wall, trash can, or other flat surface I tend to use it, but there are times when you need a prop that can just stand on the floor. I found that one of the legs was less "stiff" than the other two and this can make…

Weird little tripod in camera and photo section

I bought this little tripod hoping it would have the same flex and grip as the Joby gooseneck but on a smaller scale. However, this Albinar tripod is quite limited in its flexibility. The legs are bent from twisted metal, but so far only bent. The range of motion isn't much greater than you'd expect if the legs were just rigid and hinged at the top (like a traditional tripod). To put it more bluntly, you can't wrap these legs around a railing, fence, post, etc., so what's the point of making…
