it's not cool at all
There are a few things wrong with that. I actually bought it because someone I know has the Canon version that comes with it. Compared to this version, this one is not the best. The legs don't actually bend - they bend to a point and recline. The "ball bearing" on one of the legs came loose and disappeared on one of my outings, so it's all useless now. When used carefully, this works great. If you're looking for a tripod for more intensive use that should have real flexible legs, look elsewhere - it won't work.
