After mounting a mobile phone or small camera on it, I could not adjust the angle to focus the camera right in front of me. The legs are springy. This makes adjustments impossible. As another comment posted pointed out, the mount is not level (parallel) to the surface when the legs are extended. My tripod had the same problem. So the camera angle is already high or low and needs to be adjusted. There are many great reviews for this product so I suspect it is a quality control issue. That said, most of what is produced works well with limber legs. I happened to get one with stiff and inoperable legs.
