The gate is easy to assemble. It is made of high quality metal and is very durable. Installation took less than ten minutes. When I first opened the package I thought the gate wasn't done right because I didn't see how the gate could close. But once you assemble it and start tightening the tie rods, everything will fall into place. However, my husband kicked the ground twice while walking through the gate in the dark and was not used to being there. It's durable and will stand up to the need for my 55 lb German Shepherd to be moved from room to room. These gates are perfect for not having to install and tear down gates every time you need them. Just leave the gate open, open the door to enter and exit. The gate can also be closed directly behind you. The quality turned out to be higher than I expected. I also bought matching large gates for my porch. Both exceeded my expectations. I hope this review was helpful to you!
