My main goal is streaming on internet, FB Live and ZOOM. I use this successfully on Facebook Live and ZOOM.PROS - Inexpensive - Good video quality - Easy to use - No additional software required when streaming Windows 10. Ignore the Q&A comments on AMCAP when streaming live. You cannot use AMCAP and Facebook/ZOOM at the same time. CONS - This is an inexpensive device. So if you pan and zoom a lot, the results won't be smooth or sharp. Once the camera position and zoom are set, focus is good. If you want smooth panning and zooming, you'll have to shell out a few hundred dollars more to get optical zoom and autofocus. This Boctrol camera has neither an optical zoom nor an autofocus. The best I could do on Facebook Live was choppy, like 15fps or less. There are many factors like internet connection, browser, Facebook etc. The camera is just a small part of everything. The result is normal, not fantastic. (ZOOM works very well, the video is smooth.) - It says 16x zoom, but it doesn't look like 16x to me. Maybe 2x. The scaling works, it just doesn't look like 16x. - The remote control does not work during live streaming (it works during normal video operation). It's annoying and I don't think it's clearly stated in the instructions or in the Q&A. GENERAL I got what I needed for less than a hundred dollars. I can stream to FB Live, pan a little and zoom a little. I use a separate external microphone, so I have no comments on the camera's own microphone. I'm glad I have this camera but it's a 4/5 with those few annoyances above.
