The vest is warm; the fabric is heavy and fairly water repellent. The waterproof part makes up the thickness of the material. The vest is fully lined. The size ordered fits very well; it fits perfectly even with a heavy top underneath. Grading is an option; I think it would be better if there was a little more space. In the photo I posted you can see the holes are under the armpits near the arm. The seams around the perimeter are well done. The vest is good. The belt is thin and made of the same fabric. The collar rises up the neck to accommodate a large turtleneck. I like everything about the vest; A wider belt and a little more room would have made it perfect.
