It was a miracle for my parents. My mom loves how it can block unwanted calls. My father likes loud calls, which can also be regulated. Mute people speaking to you with the volume slider. Yes, you can actually adjust the speed when people are talking to you. This gives them time to understand the caller. And the caller doesn't even recognize the change in the call. They both like it when he says the caller's name very loudly when he gets a call. However, if the caller is unknown, no name is given which is even better for my parents as they know it is an unwanted scammer. or a cashier they can block and also take time to answer the phone if it's a friend with no caller ID, they wait and listen for the answering machine and then decide - if they accidentally block someone they can easily unblock them. It gives me some relief to know that they aren't afraid to pick up the phone for fear they won't understand the caller, or won't hear the phone, or that they're going to block those cashier marketers now.
