Louder and suitable for the elderly with hearing impairment.

It's really louder than anything I've had before. My father can understand better with this new phone. It's easy to work with and I recommend it for seniors with hearing impairments.

Terrible phone. good for phone accessories

This is a terrible phone. My parents fought this for months and now it beeps for no reason. No phone messages or alerts have been posted. I would like to return it but because my parents didn't want to tell me about the problems as I gave it to them and it took too long to return. Also, after only a few months, the battery stopped charging and they had to buy a new battery. Too bad I never bought it.

  • Stylish and modern design

Really helped my mother use her phone

My mother was prescribed hearing aids but doesn't always wear them. We tried giving her different types of phones, most of which were advertised as for the hearing impaired, with limited success. So far this Panasonic is the best we've found. I've set it to auto-amp the volume and auto-answer when the phone is picked up and my mom will actually use it. I also like the loud ringtone and the way it flashes bright red when it rings. I only made a few tweaks to the settings, but what I noticed in…

Phone not working - design issue

I really liked the phone at first. It was a bit difficult to set up due to the many features, but once set up everything worked well. At least that was the case for several months. Now the tube stops temporarily. Research online shows that this is a common problem that stems from the poor quality battery contacts used in the phone. The batteries are fine, the phone just doesn't notice and turns itself off. The return date for the Revain is long overdue and there's no point in sending it back to

  • Good product for the price

Mom is easier to hear callers.

I bought this for my mother who is 90 years old and has a hearing loss. I didn't even like talking to her on the phone anymore because it was so annoying to repeat or not let her understand what I was saying. This phone was very helpful. Your hearing is much better. Calling out loud and saying a phone number will help. The announcement is a bit difficult to understand because the recording speaks very fast, but they repeat it. She's so used to looking at the screen to see who's calling, but I…

It was a miracle for my parents. My mom loves how it can block unwanted calls. My father likes loud calls, which can also be regulated. Mute people speaking to you with the volume slider. Yes, you can actually adjust the speed when people are talking to you. This gives them time to understand the caller. And the caller doesn't even recognize the change in the call. They both like it when he says the caller's name very loudly when he gets a call. However, if the caller is unknown, no name is…

SUITABLE FOR MY MODERATE TO SEVERE HEARING LOSS

I bought this phone in January because I have a moderate to severe hearing loss and have had trouble hearing people with a regular phone. When I first used it I still couldn't hear conversations very well so I tried adjusting the sound to a higher pitch/tone using the tone button on the side of the phone and it helped A LOT. There are 6 settings/tones and the phone will stay on your chosen tone unless you need to set it while talking to someone. People with hearing loss lose the ability to hear

Hearing/Visually Impaired - Difficult to set up

Five stars for features - three stars for difficult installation - four stars on average. In general, this phone is suitable for people with hearing or visual impairments. PROs are big numbers on the phone. The handset and base flash when the phone is ringing. The mechanical voice provides the caller's identity (requires you to have a Caller ID ["CID"] from your ISP; I entered the names and phone numbers of people I speak to frequently; the entered Name is then announced as person calls.(I…

I learned it the hard way.

61 year old male. With excellent hearing. I mean great! However, when I order a cordless phone, for some reason I can't hear the caller. I started this odyssey on July 5th, 17.7/5.V-Tech CS6114, rubbish in every possible way. Return 7/7. AT&T EL5-1103 incoming call is pleasant but inaudible, very similar to above. Previous 8/7 Panasonic KX-TG6591T Easy to use and set up, but callers can't hear me well or I can hear them very well. Very low call. To return. You only have to pay money, nothing…

The mechanical voice provides the caller's identity (requires you to have a Caller ID ["CID"] from your ISP; I entered the names and phone numbers of people I speak to frequently; the entered Name is then announced as person calls.(I don't know if this aspect of caller ID may require the provider's CID.)
