This shirt is made from 100% cotton. Although the listing says "flannel". . . it's not really flannel. It looks like... . but don't want to. Something prickly. It's such a classic red and black plaid flannel and it suits my little boy really well. We are a size 8 and it fits my medium 8 year old perfectly. The only downside is that he says it's a bit itchy. Suitable for most days but by the end he gets tired of wearing them. Washing helped a little with this problem and a t-shirt would have helped even more I'm sure. That's really my only complaint as otherwise it's a good shirt.

A lovely checked shirt made from 100% super soft cotton, perfect for the colder months. I fell in love with this color combination instantly and knew it would be perfect for my little boy. He said it's comfortable and warm, but I think it's a little bit more. Don't worry as he can definitely grow into her and the sleeves can just be rolled up for now. Washes and dries without shrinking or fading and gets even softer after wash! I am very happy and satisfied and would definitely recommend it!

Ordered for my four year old son - is definitely a bit large but I got back some of that size through washing/drying. When washed, it does a very good job, the stitching is preserved as is the softness of the material. It's a bit stiff out of the box, but after washing it's very soft!
