SUITABLE FOR MY MODERATE TO SEVERE HEARING LOSS

I bought this phone in January because I have a moderate to severe hearing loss and have had trouble hearing people with a regular phone. When I first used it I still couldn't hear conversations very well so I tried adjusting the sound to a higher pitch/tone using the tone button on the side of the phone and it helped A LOT. There are 6 settings/tones and the phone will stay on your chosen tone unless you need to set it while talking to someone. People with hearing loss lose the ability to hear the higher frequencies/tones needed to better understand speech. The clarity of this phone is good. Another useful feature that comes in very handy when needed is the Slow Talk button. This slows down the caller's speech just enough to better understand them. I was very surprised and happy when I used it for the first time. I didn't need to use the Volume Booster button since the volume buttons on the side of the phone are usually sufficient for me. Using speakerphone is also a good way to hear the caller louder. I like the call blocking feature. It really helps with robo calling. In addition to blocking people's numbers, you can block a range of numbers like area code, which I've done with great results, and you can block calls with no number/no name. The settings and features were fairly straightforward, and I'm a senior. I also like that the phone announces the name of the caller. I am very thankful for a phone with these features.
