Small plate but I like the size. Very strong and durable board. Can of course be used in a microwave oven without changing the permeability of the panel. Raised sides keep food and liquids perfectly on the plate. I use this type of plate to give my dog meat and dog sauce with a few half tablets and crumb capsules mixed in. He's really adamant about getting every last bit of meat and a drop of gravy. Sometimes the record holds up perfectly, sometimes very well. My dog is old so he doesn't want to rip it apart and eat a few pieces. After that, I wipe the record and use it again and again. I recommend this plate for both human and canine use.
