I bought this welding hood because sometimes there is a light in my welding helmet. This hood solves that problem. but a word of caution. Another customer said the lens was tint #11, when I compared it to my tint #10 it was definitely lighter. Luckily I had a spare #10 and just changed it. I think this product could be improved with either a ratchet strap attached to the lens or a rubber strap instead of velcro. When I lift a dark lens, the lens hood shifts a little. I'll use the hood some more and see if that's the problem. if yes, then it will be solved.
