Excellent book for learning the soutache technique. I found this a little condescending at first, as I am an experienced jewelry designer and maker, but quickly changed my mind once I realized that this author is at the forefront of this genre. It's no easy job, and it offers an excellent set of very tasteful designs and instructions to follow carefully as you develop your skills to the point of feeling like a bird ready to fly from the nest and create your own. Designs with this beautiful technique with such a rich history. I bought another book on the subject from another publisher and was very disappointed with the colors and creations which I found tasteless and this author and artist has an exceptional talent for handling color and materials and of course technique. A must have for any jewelry artist library!
