The belt is very thick and I thought it would last longer, but I was wrong. The hole I used broke off after about 10-15 uses. The tear occurred when the strap was removed rather than put on. I believe this is due to the thickness of the strap not allowing the rubber to stretch easily. I still wear the belt, just use a different hole and pull the elastic over the button very carefully.
